GUI: Windows Server 2016

This is the first version of Windows Server to be based on Windows 10.

Installation:





















First Run:

















On first run, Windows Server requires you to create a strong admin password before proceeding to the desktop and server setup

In a break from tradition, Windows Server 2016 shares the same desktop wallpaper and window theme as the consumer editions of Windows 10.

Oddly enough, Windows Server 2016 does not include any sort of central help center for the operating system.

As a side note, the last several editions of Windows Server did not include Disk Cleanup as a standard feature, though it could be added later. It was included in the default install of Windows Server 2016

About Windows:





















Server 2016 is based off the 1607 release of Windows 10. While it receives security updates and hot fixes, it does not get any of the standard feature updates that Windows 10 received twice a year.
