Hi! My name is Matt. I created this blog to continue the great work of Marcin Wichary's Guidebook Gallery. His site (guidebookgallery.com) fascinated me when I was a child just getting into technology and design. I loved seeing how elements of operating systems had changed over the years and how far we have come from the days of command line interfaces. I spoke with Marcin via email a few years back and thanked him for all the work he had done on his site. He isn't able to keep updating his site further, but gave me permission to build upon his work.
There are so many operating systems and software that a site like this can never truly be complete, but I intend to at least keep up with releases of Windows and macOS. As time and resources permit, other software will be documented as well.
