GUI: Windows Server 2008

This edition of Windows server was based on Windows Vista.

On first run, Windows Server requires you to create a strong admin password before proceeding to the desktop and server setup

Windows Server uses the legacy appearance settings pane, similar to that found in XP and earlier. This is due to the omission of Aero and many other visual styling options in Server editions.
Changing the desktop background is done the same way as Windows Vista, however only the default image and a selection of colors are built in.
